Random Stuff in March

In March, my skating club here in Provo hosted the 2012 US Figure Skating Adult Championships. Because of some horrible, no good, dirty rotten circumstances which didn't allow her/our coach, Rory, to be there, I got the opportunity to put my dear friend Keri, on the ice for her event. Keri skated gorgeous and got 2nd place, I just wish Rory could have been there to see all of their hard work all come together so beautifully. They are going to Chicago this week for the USFS Adult Nationals!! GO KERI!!!!!!!!!! <3

My neice Ashlynn was in the hospital for a few days so we also went and visited her. She was in the infection control unit because her immune system is very weak so we had to wear masks all of the time and were even lucky we just got to hold her. She is back home now and waiting on some tests to figure out what is wrong.

After visitng Ashlynn, we went and saw my grandma Joan who was babysitting some of my cousins. Grandma and I were visitng in the kitchen when I walked in to the living room and saw this:

It totally made my heart melt because Syd and Bubba aren't typically very social with people they don't know as well and especially around big scary men. Syd even gave Ty a hug goodbye and Bubba tried to go home with us!! It was pretty cute, I told him we were leaving and to give me a kiss and he said no, don't go! So I told him to come with us, thinking he'd run away like normal. Instead, he ran outside to get his carseat, silly boy! I felt so bad when we actually couldn't take him cuz I would have!

The next weekend Ty and I got to go to conference together for the Saturday afternoon session. It was SO nice because we haven't been able to go to our ward together because of Tys work shift- they both start at 2:30. The bishop went out of his way to make sure we had tickets and I was very grateful.
