Ty has been wanting to take me to Mirror Lake, a favorite spot of his and his dad's, so we started there and it was only a little bit out of the way to Park City (okay it more than doubled our travel time) and it was so gorgeous it made it worth it.
Provo River Falls was also on the way up to Mirror Lake man it was gorgeous! I want to have family pictures right on that ledge....someday... Ty also promised me he'd build me a mini version as soon as we have a yard. Our yard is going to be amazing! Once upon a time, Ty was a landscape design major (among many other majors he bounced between while waiting for me to grow up and become legal haha) and actually has an official minor in landscape design. Apparently he is really really good at it too so he's always promising me all of the things he will build me. Among my other requests are a lazy river, legit fire pit, tulip garden, mini Bellagio fountains and the best play land/ swing set known to man.
While in Park City we had a great time shopping at the outlets, we both got some new work clothes, and just wandering around. We found the Olympic Park and I was completely fascinated by the aerial ski jumping classes going on. I gotta add that one to my bucket list!
After hanging around there for a while we walked the streets of downtown. We tried finding somewhere to eat but most places were closed until 5 and we were starving at 4:00...so we just came back to Provo and ate at a favorite of ours, The Pizza Factory, and came home and had a "sleep over" (i dont' believe in TV's in the bedroom so everyone once in a while we pull out our matress to the living room) and stayed up watching our latest obsession, White Collar. It was the most perfect day and we had a blast.
