Hideout Ranch

My favorite place on earth is at my grandparents ranch in Colorado.  Its on top of Beaver Mesa which is close(ish) to Telluride.  I've been going there since I was about ten and try to make it every year.  This year Ty and I took his parents, Marcy and Roy and our nephew Brock.  We had tons of fun spending time at the Ranch, my grandparents cabin in Ridgway and also Ouray.

One of my favorite things at the Ranch is that my grandma named a place on the ranch for each of the grandchildren.  Mine is a gorgeous view on the edge of the property that looks over the little cone, mt. wilson, the telluride mountains and also a side view of the sneffles range (correct me if i'm confused on any of those grama!).  She named it Ali's Outlook and it is my favorite place in the whole world!

Like always, we 4-wheeled lots and lots and lots

Rumor has it that Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid hid out here after they robbed the telluride bank.

This is my second favorite place in the world, The Point, on top of Log Hill in Ridgway.

In Ouray we went up Box Canyon and saw (sort of) the hidden waterfall there and also the gorgeous views of Ouray

Tyler and I also got our old fashioned picture taken in Ouray like my family has done for years. It was really fun getting to do tihs with him and I was glad he was a good sport about it.

Thanks for a wonderful vacation grandma and papa! We love you!
