Ty invited me to go to Las Vegas with him and his dad last weekend to go to the Mountain West Basketball Tournament. We had so much fun and it was great getting to know him better. We didn't even get sick of each other!!
This is at the SDSU v BYU game when we were still happily thinking we were going to win. It was an intense and stressful game, very fun but not fun to loose!!
This is our first night there on top of the stratosphere. We got an unlimited pass to ride all three rides up there as much as we wanted. So worth it! This one shoots you up and then lets you fall, sort of like Tower of Doom at Elitches but you go up fast too. It was way fun. We went on it six or seven times and I still screamed every time. There were two other rides that were way fun. The newest one Insanity was my favorite but we got stuck on it. When we were about to head back home the guy on the elevator told us that "Insanity" was open after being closed all night due to high winds. We decided to go on it and it is a very cool ride. Its basically giant swings hanigng over the edge of the stratosphere. The first time there was another couple on it but we decided to go again. No one else was in line so we had to sit opposite of each other to balance the weight. In the middle of the ride I overheard the attendant telling some people they were closing it for high winds again. That was a little scary since I was still on the ride but it immediately stopped and started to come back. But it didn't go back over to the platform on the tower. Something malfunctioned and it just left us hanging over the strip for a couple of minutes. I was really scared but I looked over at Ty and he looked pretty calm so that helped me out. Later he told me he was afraid because unlike me he could see the attendants faces and they looked a little worried and frantic. We ended up getting off just fine but it was definately an added thrill.
I love the fountains at the Belagio!! We watched a couple of the shows and even got to have lunch at a really nice restaurant that had a balcony over the water. So gorgeous!
